The son of renowned Spanish actors finds himself at the center of a grisly murder case on the idyllic Thai resort island of Koh Pha Ngan. Daniel Sancho Bronchalo, a popular YouTube chef in his home country is the offspring of Rodolfo Sancho Aguirre and Silvia Bronchalo. 

He is accused of brutally murdering his boyfriend, Dr. Edwin Arrieta Arteaga, a 44-year-old Colombian plastic surgeon.

 The crime, characterized by its brutality sent shockwaves through both local and international communities.

The couple were vacationing on the picturesque southern Thai island. Koh Pha Ngan, known for its stunning beaches and vibrant party scene, has now become synonymous with this horrific event.

Their vacation took a deadly turn when an argument erupted. The dispute was reportedly fueled by issues of "sex and money." 

Local authorities claim that the crime had been premeditated. The extent of the premeditation has left investigators stunned. Reports emerged that Sancho purchased items like knives, plastic bags, and cleaning supplies at multiple convenience stores around Koh Pha Ngan.

 The methodical nature of these purchases supports the claim that the crime was planned, well in advance.

Panya Niratimanon, the police chief of Koh Pha Ngan, said that Daniel Sancho Bronchalo admitted to the crime. And revealed that the victim and the suspect were in a relationship prior to their arrival in Thailand.

This revelation, combined with the suspect's alleged "dubious activities," raises chilling questions about the motive behind the murder.

Mr. Sancho reported his partner as missing after a night out at a full moon party with friends. 

Shortly after his report body parts—including hips, thighs, and even the victim's head—were found by locals at a landfill site on the island. It is alleged that the suspect dismembered the body into 14 pieces, disposing of them in various locations on the island.

DNA tests have confirmed the identity of the remains as Dr. Edwin Arrieta Arteaga's, leading to charges of "premeditated murder and secretly moving or destroying a corpse to conceal a death or the cause of death" against Daniel Sancho Bronchalo. 

The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are seeking to keep the suspect in custody.

As the news continues to unfold, his family released a statement, requesting "maximum respect" for Daniel Sancho and their family during these bewildering times.
