As the 2024 GOP primary plays out, certain candidates are sinking, while others swim. Thus far, hopefuls Chris Christie and Vivek Ramaswamy continue struggling to pick up tangible momentum. Some voters therefore posit that neither one has a viable path to winning the Republican Party's nomination.

On the other hand, contenders Nikki Haley and Ron DeSantis keep making headway. Haley's campaign has been endorsed by Americans For Prosperity and former Georgia Lieutenant Gov. Geoff Duncan. Meanwhile, Ron DeSantis locked down a historic endorsement of his campaign from Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds just last month.

DeSantis and Haley are widely viewed as some of the most competitive candidates in the GOP primary, with both now regularly taking aim at one another. That doesn't look likely to change anytime soon, either.

Earlier today, Haley's campaign got yet another boost after an endorsement from New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu.

A major win for Haley

Joining the former UN ambassador in Manchester, New Hampshire, Sununu proudly declared that he's "all in" and fully endorsing her for president. After proclaiming Haley's campaign is a movement that's full of energy, the GOP governor also heralded her as the leader to get the United States back on track.

With his endorsement came a call to action for New Hampshire residents to vote for Haley in the primary as well.

In addition to this announcement in Manchester, Sununu penned an op-ed that boosts Haley as the one who can deliver a "Republican landslide." Tomorrow, the two GOP members will sit down with CNN host Dana Bash to discuss his latest endorsement.

The upcoming primary and more

New Hampshire's primary race arrives in just over a month on Tuesday, January 23. With Sununu being a popular, fourth-term governor in the state, his getting behind Haley's campaign will undoubtedly carry some sway with voters.

On social media, Haley and her team put out statements thanking Sununu for his support and expressing optimism about the forthcoming primary.

In the meantime, polls have Haley and DeSantis as virtually neck-in-neck with one another. Although general election polling that tracks a potential Haley vs. Biden race shows the GOP candidate beating the current president by a staggering 17 points.
