In a testament to Adam Sandler’s multi-tasking popularity, his latest animated venture, “Leo,” has not only taken the streaming world by storm but has also secured a place in Netflix history.
Debuting on November 21, this animated sensation clinched the top spot on Netflix’s English-language films list. It also amassed a staggering 34.6 million views, marking it as the most-binged title of the week and the largest debut ever for a Netflix animated film.
Sandler has long been a force to be reckoned with in Hollywood. As a leading actor in film and television, he has received nominations for three Grammy Awards, five Primetime Emmy Awards, a Golden Globe Award, and a Screen Actors Guild Award. This year he was awarded the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor.
Sandler was a cast member on the series Saturday Night Live from 1990 to 1995. He has also starred in Hollywood films that have together grossed over $2 billion worldwide.
The new film “Leo” is part of a four-movie deal with Netflix that is worth over $250 million.
