A minivan-sized submersible, with a carefully selected crew of five, including renowned explorer Hamish Harding and a wealthy Pakistani father-son duo, has been reported missing during a voyage to examine the world’s most infamous shipwreck, the Titanic.
Onboard were British adventurer Hamish Harding, Pakistani tycoon Shahzada Dawood, his son Sulaiman, seasoned French diver Paul-Henry Nargeolet, and an unidentified pilot.
As of now, contact with the underwater vehicle has been lost and detailed information remains scant, causing deep concern amongst family, friends, and colleagues.
Who Is Hamish Harding?
An impressive array of extreme expeditions credit Hamish Harding’s name.
From serving as the chairman of the United Arab Emirates-based Action Aviation, breaking the world record for the fastest circumnavigation of the globe via both poles in 2019, to being one of the pioneers to dive to Challenger Deep, the deepest point in the world’s oceans, Harding’s ventures defy traditional boundaries.
