An affidavit allegedly given to ESPN by Jack, claims that Davis had demanded money from Jones years earlier.
Davis asserts that she never demanded money from Jones and believes that these statements were made with malicious intent, as part of a smear campaign against her.
Defamation Lawsuit names Jerry Jones
Davis currently works for Congressman Ronny Jackson (R-Amarillo). And is seeking relief for actual damages, special damages, punitive damages, and the costs of the lawsuit. She also requests any other future relief that may be deemed appropriate.
In the meantime, her pending paternity suit against Jones is moving forward. A judge ordered Jones to take a paternity test in December. And Jones has stated his intention to appeal the decision.
Jones has not publicly acknowledged any relationship with Davis or her mother. And his lawyers have accused her of trying to extort money from him.
However, Davis’ attorney denies these accusations and says that Davis simply wants Jones to take a paternity test to confirm whether he is her father or not.
