Patrick Crusius, the extremist whose racial hatred triggered the infamous El Paso Walmart shooting, has been consigned to a lifetime behind bars.

The 24-year-old, who pled guilty to 90 federal charges linked to the 2019 massacre that killed 23 innocent people and left dozens wounded, was handed 90 consecutive life sentences on Friday.

The El Paso community, which bore the brunt of this act of terror, along with residents from Juárez and Germany, lost loved ones in the malevolent onslaught.

The chilling three-day sentencing hearing that commenced Wednesday, held at the Albert Armendariz Sr. Federal Courthouse in Downtown El Paso, culminated with Senior U.S. District Judge David C. Guaderrama confining Crusius to the ADX Florence supermax federal prison, a chilling fortress that houses some of America’s most notorious criminals, including Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev and Oklahoma City bomber Terry Nichols.
