Obviously Harriet Tubman will continue to go down in history has someone who made monumental sacrifices and contributions in America. However, leaving U.S. currency as is is the wise and most economically sound decision. How much will it cost this nation to put Harriet Tubman on the $20 bill? America is already trillions of dollars in debt. The last thing we need is more unnecessary spending.
Liberals, Harriet Tubman, and Identity Politics
Sadly, liberals are infamous for using minorities, people of color, or their other perceived victim groups as tokens. The same progressives who believe Harriet Tubman should replace Andrew Jackson on the $20 bill are the ones who cheered or turned a blind eye to the white liberal who assaulted a black Trump supporter.
Identity politics and radical leftism cannot prevail. Fixing what is not broken makes no sense. If Andrew Jackson remains on the $20 bill until the end of time, nobody will be worse off for it. However, if healthcare continues to collapse, if Americans continue to lose money to high taxes, countless harmful offshoots will follow. Liberals need to wake up and focus on the aforementioned issues that really matter.
