Singham has been linked to Chinese Communist Party-aligned organizations and is known for financing leftist groups across the globe, many of which are critical of U.S. foreign policy and supportive of Beijing’s interests.
“We had our own voter file and phone banks targeting Jewish voters, with Jews talking to Jews,” Singham Goodwin said in a July 1 WBAI interview. “We developed talking points about antisemitism and ways for volunteers to engage.”
Targeting Jewish Political Endorsements
The group is also reportedly lobbying top Jewish politicians for endorsements, including Rep. Jerry Nadler, Sen. Chuck Schumer, Rep. Dan Goldman, and Comptroller Brad Lander.
However, backlash is mounting. Former Queens City Councilman Rory Lancman called the campaign “frightening,” criticizing Mamdani’s past defense of the controversial slogan “Globalize the Intifada,” a phrase widely viewed as promoting violence against Israel.
“The demonization of Israel leads to demonization of Jews who support Israel,” Lancman told the New York Post. “And that’s the overwhelming majority of U.S. Jews.”
