In recent years, studies have consistently demonstrated the adverse impacts of sedentary living.

The National Library of Medicine documents that individuals who remain consistently inactive are at greater risk of crippling health problems, such as cancer, hypertension, cardiovascular issues, and more.

At the same time, more people are sitting down for longer periods of time at desks, in cars, and in other environments. Combined with additional unhealthy lifestyle choices, it’s just a matter of time before being in a consistently sedentary state eventually catches up with them.
