The Rock then talked about how he’s managed to cope with his own mental health in the wake of coronavirus.
“It’s been about 50/50. I’ve had some really good days, where I feel anchored and balanced, and I feel optimistic and hopeful. Then the opposite side of that: honestly days where I’m wobbling because you don’t know what’s going to happen tomorrow.”
Finally, the superstar admitted that while coronavirus can trigger depression, anxiety, and other mental health issues, it’s important to maintain “a faith that things are going to be OK.”
Mental Health Awareness
The Rock’s pointers about mental health awareness are accurate and critical, especially in present times. Americans should absolutely do what they can to preserve a healthy state of mind and not lose hope.
A significant factor in mental health involves financial security, however. This is something that millions of Americans lack, especially as Democrat mayors and governors issue and lengthen shelter-in-place/stay-at-home orders. Needless to say, when people face government bans that prohibit them from working and earning a living, this causes immense strain on multiple levels.
