Roper Technologies Inc. announced Monday its plans to acquire CentralReach, a leading software provider specializing in autism and intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) care, in a $1.65 billion deal. The acquisition, backed by law firm King & Spalding LLP, will transfer ownership of CentralReach from private equity firm Insight Partners.

This major move underscores Roper’s commitment to high-growth, mission-driven technology firms that align with its long-term investment strategy.

A Platform Powering Autism and IDD Care

CentralReach has become a cornerstone in the behavioral healthcare space, offering cloud-native software that streamlines workflows and administration for applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy. More than 200,000 professionals rely on the company’s technology to enhance care for individuals with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities.

Roper’s president and CEO, Neil Hunn, highlighted the significance of the deal, stating:

"CentralReach meets each of our long-standing acquisition criteria while also having a structurally faster organic growth profile and the ability to expand margins under Roper's long-term ownership. Financial and Strategic Gains

Roper expects CentralReach to contribute approximately $175 million in revenue for the 12 months ending June 30, 2026. The transaction’s valuation includes a $200 million tax benefit, adding to the financial appeal of the deal.

Headquartered in Sarasota, Florida, Roper operates under an autonomous model, allowing its businesses to function independently while leveraging its financial and strategic resources. This approach is expected to provide CentralReach with the stability and backing needed for continued expansion.

CentralReach CEO Chris Sullens expressed enthusiasm about the acquisition, calling Roper the perfect long-term partner to fuel the company’s next phase of growth.
