The tech sector has been on a rollercoaster ride, and Tesla CEO Elon Musk is at the center of it.
Last week, Musk held an emergency all-hands meeting with Tesla employees following a wave of attacks on Tesla dealerships and a significant stock sell-off driven by declining sales in key markets.

Despite the tension, Musk highlighted Tesla’s ambitious plans for 2025, particularly the production of 5,000 Optimus humanoid robots.
Urging employees to retain their shares, he emphasized that the company’s self-driving technology could be leveraged to advance the production of these human-like robots.
“Optimus has gone from being an idea to the most sophisticated humanoid robot on earth,” Musk stated, according to a recording of the event posted on X. He further noted that Tesla is the only company equipped to mass-produce intelligent humanoid robots.
The Optimus announcement comes at a time when major tech companies like Apple, Huawei, Meta, and Tencent are preparing to introduce their own humanoid robots, intensifying competition in the sector.
