In a shocking incident on Friday night, a 32-year-old woman shot in head. The event took place in an apartment complex on Hilton Head Island, according to the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO).
Woman Shot in Head : Prompt Response to the Distress Call
Upon receiving a report about a gunshot victim around 8:45 p.m., BCSO deputies were immediately dispatched to the scene at 11 Southwood Park Drive.
They arrived to find that the woman, who had been shot in the head, had already been transported privately to the Hilton Head Regional Medical Center.

Officials reveal that the victim was not an initiator, but an intervener. It’s believed that she was trying to diffuse an altercation when the unfortunate event took place.
Notably, this violent incident didn’t just result in the woman being shot, but another woman was also injured. However, the second victim did not require hospitalization, according to BCSO.
