FTC Antitrust Efforts

- Apple: In March, Kanter accused Apple of using unlawful tactics to lock consumers into its iPhone ecosystem. Apple has vehemently denied these allegations, asserting that the lawsuit is legally and factually incorrect.
- Meta (Facebook): The Federal Trade Commission (FTC), sharing antitrust enforcement authority with the DOJ, is pursuing a lawsuit to unwind Meta’s acquisitions of Instagram and WhatsApp.
