Legal experts suggest these depositions could prove pivotal in determining whether Jolie violated the terms of her agreement with Pitt and whether the sale to Stoli Group was conducted in bad faith.

Contrasting Reactions to Divorce Settlement

The couple's divergent responses to their December 2024 divorce settlement reveal the emotional toll of their prolonged legal battle. Through her attorney James Simon, Jolie expressed profound relief at finally closing this chapter of her life.

"More than eight years ago, Angelina filed for divorce from Mr. Pitt. She and the children left all of the properties they had shared with Mr. Pitt, and since that time, she has focused on finding peace and healing for their family," Simon stated. "Frankly, Angelina is exhausted, but she is relieved this one part is over."

In stark contrast, Pitt adopted a more matter-of-fact approach when discussing the settlement with GQ Magazine. "No, I don't think it was that major of a thing," the 61-year-old actor remarked. "Just something coming to fruition. Legally."
