Bryan Kohberger, the man accused of murdering four Idaho college students in 2022, has agreed to plead guilty to all charges. This decision will spare him from the death penalty and likely keep him behind bars for life.

According to ABC News, Kohberger’s guilty plea comes as part of a deal that will result in four consecutive life sentences. There is no possibility of parole and the permanent waiver of his right to appeal.

The news was also confirmed by NewsNation and the Idaho Statesman, which obtained a letter sent to the victims’ families outlining the plea agreement.
