On February 23, CNN announced that Rihanna will perform "Lift Me Up" from the upcoming film Black Panther: Wakanda Forever at the 2023 Oscars, following her Super Bowl halftime show performance. Additionally, three other nominated songs will be performed, including "Applause" from Tell It Like a Woman, "Naatu Naatu" from RRR, and "This Is a Life" from Everything Everywhere All at Once.
