The San Diego Unified School District is offering voluntary 'white privilege' training to teachers, telling them 'you are racist' and they uphold 'racist ideas, structures, and policies', marking another example of indoctrinating American teachers to proselytize future generations of students. Hundreds of teachers within the school district reportedly volunteered for the training. The training documents were leaked to investigative journalist Christopher Rufo, who shared them in a series of tweets.

 Rufo was featured on Fox News to discuss the training where he said officials are using a "bullying and cult indoctrination tactic" to purge the educational system of conservative voices. To begin, teachers were told to recognize they were meeting on 'stolen land' from indigenous peoples. Afterward, two clips were shown to the teachers. One of Robin DeAngelo, author of "White Fragility" and another featuring Ibram X. Kendi, who wrote, "Be Antiracist: A Journal for Awareness, Reflection, and Action." Upon finishing the two clips the audience was then instructed to adopt 'antiracist' attitudes in the classroom where they will “confront and examine [their] white privilege” as well as “teach others to see their privilege."

 On top of offering 'antiracist' training, the school district has reformed its grading system in order to be more 'equitable'. This led to the elimination of non-academic factors that influence grades including tardiness and classroom behavior. The change was made following data reports that ethnic minority students were performing worse than white students grade-wise. “We are a majority-minority district with a majority white teacher workforce. The ability to hold honest conversations about race with grace is important, which is why we offered the training and why so many teachers elected to enroll,” said a district spokesperson.
