Savannah Guthrie, one of the prominent faces of Today, recently visited the network’s headquarters in New York as she begins mapping out her eventual comeback to the program.

Her colleague Jenna Bush Hager shared the update with viewers, revealing that Guthrie had stopped by while continuing to cope with the distressing disappearance of her mother.

“She said that she has the intention to return to the show,” Bush Hager told audiences. Still, she acknowledged uncertainty surrounding the timeline.

“I don’t know when she’s actually returning,” she added.

For Guthrie, the studio represents more than just a workplace. According to Bush Hager, the newsroom feels like home — a place where she is deeply supported.

“Even though it feels like the hardest thing to do, it’s also her home and where she feels so loved,” Bush Hager said. “And she is beyond loved here.”

Mystery Surrounds Disappearance of Nancy Guthrie

The broadcaster has been absent from the air since late January, just days before her mother vanished under troubling circumstances.

Nancy Guthrie, 84, disappeared from her residence in Arizona on February 1. Authorities believe she may have been forcibly taken from the home during the night.

Investigators with the Pima County Sheriff's Office say evidence suggests she was removed against her will — possibly the victim of a kidnapping.

Nearly five weeks later, the case remains riddled with unanswered questions.

Clues Surface — But No Breakthrough

Detectives have pursued thousands of leads in the search.

Authorities say they have received nearly 40,000 tips from members of the public. Yet despite the avalanche of information, the case remains stubbornly unresolved.

Investigators released images of a man believed to be the primary suspect. The individual was captured on Nancy Guthrie’s Nest doorbell camera near the time she vanished.

Adding to the mystery, ransom messages have surfaced.

Several media outlets received notes demanding roughly $6 million in cryptocurrency in exchange for Nancy Guthrie’s safe return. One of the messages included a deadline that expired on February 9.

Law enforcement has not confirmed the authenticity of the communications.
