This isn't just a presidential storyline. Congress has been on a war footing over UAP transparency for months. Rep. Anna Paulina Luna of Florida, who chairs the House Oversight Task Force on the Declassification of Federal Secrets, sent a formal demand to the Pentagon to release 46 UAP-related videos by April 14. That deadline came and went — without a single frame released. Luna has since warned she is considering using subpoena authority to force the Pentagon's hand.

Rep. Tim Burchett of Tennessee — one of Capitol Hill's most vocal UAP advocates — reposted Trump's Phoenix remarks with a direct message: "Thank you for keeping your word to me @realDonaldTrump." That's a congressman publicly acknowledging that Trump made him a private promise. Think about what that implies.

"The most significant material — if it exists — could include high-resolution satellite imagery or physical materials recovered from alleged crash sites."

Harvard physicist Avi Loeb put it plainly: even if the released data ultimately has a conventional explanation, analyzing it publicly would help the scientific community and strengthen U.S. national security by identifying whether the technology involved is foreign-made or something else entirely. That's not fringe talk. That's a Harvard professor calling this a legitimate national security priority.

He said, "I know you people, you're really into that. I don't know if I am." Then he dropped the announcement.
