Pattern Allegations and Prior Lawsuit
This filing is the second lawsuit accusing Perry of using his power in the entertainment industry to sexually assault aspiring male actors. In June, actor Derek Dixon, who appeared in The Oval and Ruthless, filed a separate lawsuit alleging Perry pinned him against a wall and groped him. Dixon’s case, initially filed in California state court, has since been removed to federal court in Georgia.
Rodriguez’s complaint states he decided to come forward after learning of Dixon’s allegations, asserting that Perry’s alleged conduct was ongoing and systemic rather than isolated.
Defense Response
Perry’s attorney, Alex Spiro, issued a statement rejecting the claims, stating that the same lawyer representing Rodriguez previously failed in another matter against Perry and is now advancing what he characterized as a decade-old “money grab.” Perry has not otherwise commented publicly on the specific factual allegations.
