Jason Momoa called out Chris Pratt for using a single-use plastic bottle and posting it on Instagram. Turns out, Pratt says it was thrown to him as a prop. Pratt says he actually uses reusable gallon jugs to drink water. Within hours, Momoa apologized for calling him out so harshly. But should he have apologized?
Aquaman and Starlord
Jason Momoa (famous for playing Aquaman, as well as Khal Drogo on Game of Thrones) is passionate about the “single use plastic epidemic.” Chris Pratt (known for playing Starlord in Guardians of the Galaxy) seems to agree.
When Pratt posted an Instagram picture of him holding a single-use plastic bottle while “low-key flexing,” Momoa called him out. “No single use plastic. Come on,” responded Momoa. And the internet blew this exchange out of proportion.
Pratt said, “If I remember correctly somebody threw that plastic bottle to me in the photo shoot cause I didn’t know what to do with my hands.” Momoa apologized for how out of control this “quarrel” had gotten over the course of a day.
