During last week’s Democratic National Convention, Vice President Kamala Harris formally accepted her party’s nomination. Since entering the 2024 White House race, Harris has managed to garner overwhelming support with her own party, among women, and even with some Republicans and Independents who’ve reached their wit’s end with former President Trump.

So far, polls show Harris in dead heat with her GOP opponent in the nation’s various battleground areas. Arizona, Pennsylvania, and other similar swing states are going to be make-or-break in the November race. Both presidential contenders are thus eager to pick up as many votes as possible to avoid losing to the other in less than 70 days.

Amid the aftermath of the DNC, new surveys are being made available to the public. One from Quinnipiac University has the vice president carrying a multi-point lead over her rival.
