Shortly after Bernie Sanders won the Nevada caucus, Buttigieg warned about the plight of nominating him. The former mayor opined that if Democrats choose Sanders as their party’s nominee, the Democratic-socialist will ultimately divide and alienate folks who are not 100% on board with him.
Buttigieg was one of two veterans seeking office; the last remaining veteran candidate is now Tulsi Gabbard.
