Some feel the surveys showing Biden neck-in-neck with Trump don’t bode well for the former. Then, there are polls that display the president losing support amongst Democrats, Independents, and US adults.

So far, the Democratic National Committee has established it will not hold any primary debates. This news is believed to have influenced Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to go from launching his presidential run as a Democrat to later campaigning as an Independent.

Likewise, the DNC’s refusal to host debates this year has been slammed as the establishment colluding to help Biden. Yet, none of this is dissuading Democratic Rep. Dean Phillips from officially challenging Biden for the party’s 2024 nomination.

On Friday, the Minnesota congressman officially announced his choice to get into the election. Phillips is currently branding his candidacy as one that “everyone” is welcome to support.
