According to Forbes Swift made $52 million in 2021 by rerecording and subsequently releasing earlier work that was sold by her former manager Scooter Braun.

Her new version of "Red" was one of the year's top-selling albums, and "Fearless (Taylor's Version)" topped the charts when it was released.

Forbes also reported that some of her income that year came from lucrative endorsement deals with Peloton and Starbucks.

Swift has proven herself to be incredibly savvy with investments. In 2022, she pulled out of a $100 million sponsorship deal with Sam Bankman-Fried's FTX after she questioned the company if it was selling "unregistered securities."

As Business Insider reported, many other celebrities such as Tom Brady and Stephen Curry failed to do so and are now being sued for endorsing the now-bankrupt crypto exchange.

Swift's fortune is a composite of her extensive discography, five homes, and earnings from streaming deals, music sales, concert tickets, and merchandise. 

Forbes had previously estimated her net worth at $740 million in July of 2023, making her ascent to billionaire status all the more remarkable.

The cinematic rendition of the Eras Tour has not only broken box-office records but has also elevated Swift's financial standing. 

Grossing over $170 million to date, the film's worldwide ticket presales surpassed $100 million before its release.

"Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour" set a new record for first-day ticket sales in 2023, according to Fandango. And it surpassed “Justin Bieber: Never Say Never” to claim the title of the highest-grossing concert movie of all time.

Swift's financial prowess extends beyond album sales and tours. Her income is boosted by strategic brand endorsements and partnerships with high-profile entities such as Capital One, AT&T, Stella McCartney, Elizabeth Arden perfumes,  Apple, Keds, Diet Coke, Walmart, and American Express.

 These partnerships, coupled with the financial windfall from her record-breaking tours, contribute significantly to Swift's burgeoning empire.

While Swift's financial success is undeniable, her commitment to philanthropy adds a layer of depth to her narrative. On multiple occasions, Swift has demonstrated a generous spirit, donating substantial sums to causes close to her heart. 

Swift is also giving life-changing bonuses to her staff and all her tour crews.

While the exact number of Shomotion staff who received the six-figure bonus was not disclosed, the overall sum amounted to a staggering $55 million, as Swift has approximately 50 drivers on her tour.
