Former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger does not support his fellow Republicans, who are running for governor in the state.

On Friday, the Los Angeles Times learned about Schwarzenegger’s stance in the California gubernatorial’s race through his spokesman, Daniel Ketchell.

According to Ketchell, Schwarzenegger will not vote for either businessman John Cox or Assembly Member Travis Allen. “They will not get his vote,” said Ketchell.

The former California governor made the decision to not support either Cox or Allen because of their positions on climate change. According to Ketchell, Schwarzenegger “won’t support any candidate that plans to take California backward and undo our environmental leadership.”

Yesterday, Schwarzenegger tweeted that those “Republicans who won’t stand up for California’s rights to clean our should leave the party.”

Schwarzenegger says California does not need Trump's advice/endorsement

On Thursday, he also opposed President Donald Trump’s endorsement of Cox. He tweeted that Californians does not need Trump’s advice or endorsements.

Focus on your job. Focus on building the infrastructure this country needs. We don’t need your endorsements. We are moving forward just fine without your help. Besides, if California went backwards, you wouldn’t have your Twitter or your iPhone. You don’t want that.

In addition, Schwarzenegger said they don’t believe in going backwards makes anyone great. He  emphasized that California’s economy is growing without the President’s help. He cited that the state’s GDP growth rate is 4.9%, higher than the U.S GDP growth rate of 2.3% and Trump’s rate of 3%.
