Dallas authorities have apprehended three more suspects believed to be part of a Venezuelan gang, accused of violently robbing a woman inside her Northwest Dallas home.
This incident highlights a growing concern about international criminal elements expanding operations into Texas.
The arrests came after an intense hours-long standoff between law enforcement and the suspects near DFW Airport in Irving, Texas, on Thursday.
6 Suspects, 4 Arrests
Three of the men arrested during the standoff were identified as 20-year-old Yean Brayhan Torrealba-Sanabria, 34-year-old Carlos Alberto Martinez-Silva, and 27-year-old Wilmer Jesus Colmenares-Gonzalez.
All three suspects face charges of aggravated robbery in connection with a violent theft that took place on September 21.
Previously, police had already arrested 28-year-old Manuel Hernandez-Hernandez, whose fingerprint was found at the crime scene.
According to court documents, two additional suspects have been named, but they are still at large.
