If the drones had hit their mark the damage would have been worse.

According to Russian sources, drones were also involved in the Saratov strikes. And it was reported that at least one drone used by Ukraine fell before it could complete its mission.

Drone attacks on Russia continue

On Tuesday Russian governor of Kursk, Roman Starovoyt reported a fire at the airfield in the city of Kursk. Starovoyt claimed that an oil storage tank caught fire near the Kursk airfield. And claimed it was due to a drone attack.

City of Kursk officials canceled classes at two schools in the area of the fire. And local authorities are extending the city-wide yellow terror threat alert level for two weeks.

The Kursk airport was taken over by the military in February when Russia invaded Ukraine. The City of Kursk is approximately 65 miles from the Ukrainian border.

Moscow is claiming this attack was the third launched by Ukraine forces on Russian air bases in two days.
