The political left has wholly thrown its support behind critical race theory. Critical race theory is nothing short of a Marxist political ideology. This ideology views all structures via the lens of race; critical race theory furthermore alleges that white individuals are innately oppressive merely due to their race, while also depicting people of color as inherent victims.

Republicans understandably don't want this type of political view being pushed onto children; however, Democrats are all for it. The left continues to denounce any concerns that conservatives bring up regarding critical race theory.

Yesterday, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy called out the Democrat Party for its consistent and present ties to racism.

McCarthy on critical race theory and the Democrat Party

On Tuesday, Leader McCarthy spoke on the congressional floor about the ills of critical race theory. The House Republican first prefaced his remarks by noting Democrats' historical ties to racism. McCarthy pointed out that the Democrat Party is the one which backed slavery, Jim Crow laws, segregation, the Ku Klux Klan, etc.

The House Minority Leader then declared that each of the aforementioned things are every bit as racist as critical race theory. After McCarthy stated that Democrats traded in supporting the Ku Klux Klan for supporting critical race theory, he noted the racist pasts of Democrats like President Joe Biden and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

Both Biden and Pelosi infamously lauded and exalted Robert Byrd, a Democrat senator with extensive involvement in the KKK. Finally, McCarthy slammed today's Democrat Party for continuing its pattern of using race and skin color as the primary means of assessing an individual's character.

Rejecting critical race theory

Several Republican governors across America have acted to ensure critical race theory is not taught to children in public schools.

This is happening for many reasons. For starters, classrooms are not arenas for the imposition of political ideologies onto children; secondly, the core tenets of critical race theory wrongly cite race as an individual's defining attribute.

The debate on critical race theory in America further demonstrates the real divide between the left and the right. However, parents and individuals of all races across the nation have vocalized their grievances against critical race theory.
